Tony Di Sante is President of GANYC, the professional association of licensed tour guides for New York City. His job is to bring together his members on a regular basis to address the needs of the multiple of groups that come to the city each year to learn about what the city has to offer. His members know the city best. You’ll learn how they do it and what some of the best kept secrets of the city are. Take a personal tour with Tony this Thursday and Saturday on our show.
Gary J. Davis is Vice President of Marketing for NY WATERWAY, the company that runs ferries to and from various parts of the city for both business and pleasure. The company’s newest service provides tours of New York Harbor for the Summer and Fall season. Passengers will board a fleet of newer and smaller
vessels that will carry them in confort and class, all for a nominal fee. Gary will give us some background on the company, how it started and where it’s going.
Chantal Davis has been a volunteer for the Big Apple visitor program that matches individuals who come to New York to explore its neighboods with willing hands such as the program provides. Their slogan is something like “it’s about having your aunt show you around”. Next month she will move on to join Mayor Bloomberg’s National Community Services program as a Civic Corps member. Her assignment will be to develop community outreach initiatives.
