Regione Toscana in the U.S.

Tuscany is a world class region for varietals and art, for architecture on the grand scale, and for magnificent scenery. The Renaissance was born here.

Starting in January, this region of Italy has begun to introduce its
patrimony and the products and services that the world has come to expect. From the official start of its “Buy Tuscany” campaign last October in Florence to its introduction on January 28 in New York at the offices of ENIT, the Italian travel agency, Tuscany has opened its doors to a wider audience of travel agents, tour operators, and the media, where it organized a series of seminars and workshops under the auspices
ENIT. Led by Mr.Eugenio Magnani, the U.S. Director of Tourism for Italy, and Tuscany’s Director of Tourism, Mr. Alberto Peruzzini, the program attracted a select group of professionals.
Mr. James Bradburne, Director of the Palazzo Strozzi Foundation in Florence announced the Pontormo e Rosso Fiorentino exhibition opening this March in Florence. The program will be open to the general public. In addition, the “Buy Tuscany” campaign plans to introduce a myriad of products and services from the region first to wholesalers and buyers from the tri-state area, including New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
The program will move to Los Angeles in February.
