Gems of So. Orange House Tour & Classic German Car show

This Saturday, the 18th, South Orange NJ home owners host a one-day celebration of some of the most unique homes in the region. Visit scores of historic chalets, inns, and turn-of-the century town houses in this traditional area, from 10-4 pm. The donation is $20 before Saturday or $25 at the “gate” . So. Orange train station, a 45 minute ride from Penn Station in NYC. Trains are every hour. While there you’ll have a chance to
sample some of the home-made dishes being presented by the home owners themselves as well as from a number of restaurants in the area at no extra charge.
What a great way to spend a day out of the city.And if you’re traveling by car there’s ample street parking free-of-charge, or if you wish you can use the parking lot nearest to the station at a reasonable day rate.

And if you have the time please take note that there will also be a parade of classic German cars on display in and around
the rail station, again at no charge. Signs will be posted everywhere.
