First-ever Latin food festival hits NYC, June 4-12. Start at
Astor Pavilion, 399 Lafayette St., Saturday-Sunday June 5-6,
11 a.m-6:30 p.m on Sat., 11-5:30 on Sun. Celebrity chefs, mixologists,name restaurants, and tastings on both days.

Celebrating the food & culture of Latin-America, over 5,000
are expected to taste and sample from 16 restaurants-NYC-NJ.
30+ food & beverage stars joining in. This is the first ever.
Experience “A Day in Latin America” in a fiesta atmosphere.
An “Authentic Dining Week” follows. Leading countries include
Brazil, Argentina, Ecuador, Uruguay, Mexico, Columia, Chile and
Peru.
Acc. to founder Karen Uribe, this is an attempt to recognize local farmers, to set a standard for food producers and distributers, and to provide an awareness of the cultures and
traditions of the many countries from Latin America presenting

The festival “partners” with Greenmarket ( Grow NYC ), the
Rainforest Alliance and Fair Trade Federation.
