Sunday evening, the 9th at NYU’s
Skirball Center in NYC witnessed a
stellar performance by nine dance troupes performing modern dance like
you’ve never seen. The program was
sponsored by the Gotham Arts Exchange, a non-profit org that has supported and maintained dance arts over the last five seasons in New York. Go to

The companies included the renowned GARTH FAGAN Dance Company
( Passion Distanced; Woza ), ALISON CHASE ( Star Crossed ), KATE WEARE
( Bright Land ), PARADIGM ( Idyll ),
( Keystone ) and KEIGWIN + COMPANY
( Love Songs ).

The dances were heavily accented towards sensual love and sexual
attraction, erotic and plain, man-to-woman, man-to-man, and woman-to-woman, all beautifully expressed to a most responsive young adult audience.

I found the costumes creative, and
balanced and the music under
appealing and relevant to the numbers
selected. It was an intelligent bearing for all to enjoy.

For more info on forthcoming dance programs at the Skirball Center go to: or call 866-
811. 4111 or 212-352. 3101.

One final note-the price was right. All tickets started at $10 I found. You can’t beat that!
