IWFI-ITC's 47th Gala Italia

47th annual Italian Wine expo,sponsored by the Italian Trade Commission and the Italian Wine & Food Institute in New York City
awarded 23 First Prize Awards to selected Italian Wine producers.
at the Pierre Hotel in NYC, on Dec.7.
A total of 34 Italian Wine producers participated in this annual event.
Also included were 6 leading Italian restaurants, 7 major Italian product
companies along with 3 international
sponsors. The evening portion held in the Cotillion Ballroom saluted the
American Society of Italian Legions of Merit under the patronage of H.E.
Giorgio Napolitano, President of the Republic of Italy and with Cav.di Gran Croce, Dr.Lucio Caputo, President of the ASILM presiding. Noted dignitaries
included Justice Antonin Scalia,former Amb.Ronald Spogli, Maestro Arnaldo Pomodoro and Surgeon-in-Chief Dr. Fabrizio Michelassi at New York-Presbyterian Hospital in New York attended.
